My name is Sheilah Gayle Halker, I live with my husband Will who is my best friend, and cheerleader, along with our Maltese, Sugarbaby.

Born in the BlueRidge mountains of WV gave me a great appreciation for the beauty in nature. At present we live in NE Georgia among the rolling hills that start the Appalachian trail. Evidence of God in His creation is everywhere and I have a desire to share what I see with others.

My creative journey began when I was inspired by my 6th grade art teacher, who taught me how to hold a brush and use oil paint. It was six weeks of awesomeness! Never underestimate the value of the arts in school. I didn’t pick up a brush again until I was in my twenties and painted when I could find some time.

I’ve been painting on and off for the past forty years. Working professionally in marketing and interior design helped me improve the use of color and scale in my art. I am passionate about bringing to you the the very best rendering that will engage you for years to come and encourage you to find, “Joy In The Journey.”
